About Lawrence

Larry has been involved with music since he was eight years old. He is now a current student at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts where he is majoring in Music Education as a guitar principle. When he turned eight, he began learning guitar from his father, and also learned Alto and Tenor Saxophone later on through his elementary and secondary school year bands. Before entering his freshman year of high school, Larry also began to study guitar privately with Berklee alumni Mark Daniel.

In 2014, Larry was accepted to Berklee College of Music as guitar principle where he declared to major in Music Education. In the spring of 2015, he was elected on the board for Berklee's NAfME (National Assoc. for Music Education) student-run chapter. That summer of 2015, Larry also coordinated and led a music program as a camp counselor for The New York YMCA camp in Huguenot, NY. Today Larry currently serves as President for his school's NAfME chapter, is a member of the Music Ed. Big Band, works as a Resident Assistant, served as a collegiate ambassador for the MMEA conference, and has volunteered for various Music Ed. programs including songwriting clinics and kids jam with guest artist Terrance Blanchard.
