Graduate Student Turned Math Tutor

Hello, I'm Adam. I have a Bachelor's degree in Math from the University of Texas at Austin, and I've long had a passion for math education. I have been a graduate student at Texas A&M pursuing a mathematics PhD for the last 4 years, but have recently switched to the Master's Program. I have found that learning math itself is much less rewarding than helping students, so I have been focused on my opportunities as an instructor, teaching assistant and tutor to help math students to the best of my ability.

I think that my interpersonal skills and relaxed approach can help any kind of student succeed in their math course. I always focus on fostering a positive learning environment while helping student's master new math concepts and refine their foundational math skills.

I am a relaxed but knowledgeable tutor, and I use this tutoring style to help students build confidence in math and feel comfortable asking questions. I love forming personal relationships with my students while sharpening their math skills to help them succeed.
