Prior to entering the workforce in 2017, I was a career student earning my undergraduate and graduate degrees in succession. During this time I learned a lot about the struggles a full course load can provide. I also learned about the joy that can come from the breakthrough moment when helping one of your peers understand course material. As a presentations coach for my MBA classmates I loved seeing the improvement in their skills over the course of a semester. For all this reason, I am looking to continue tutoring and helping the student population better themselves.

I hope to have the opportunity to help you out and to experience the breakthrough moment as the picture of your studies begins to have a little more clarity.

My undergraduate major was in accounting, where I took multiple financial and managerial accounting courses. To this day, I utilize an accounting software to manage my own finances and keep the skills necessary fresh in my mind. I have a passion for numbers and enjoy teaching financial literacy.

In my MBA program, I was selected as a presentations coach for first year full time MBA students. In this role I taught students how to effectively organize, prepare, and delivery various business presentations.

As I took a non-traditional career path from most in my MBA and JD programs, I was forced to figure out how to find my way into the "real world." I was able to successfully achieve this by using other campus resources and my own network.

Having obtained my law degree and as a barred attorney in New Jersey I can provide insight into legal analysis, or provide guidance on how to navigate legal issues.

As a tutor, I pride myself on trying to break down topics into more manageable pieces to build greater understanding. I have been successful using this technique both for myself and for my peers, and I hope I have the opportunity to help you with your coursework.

As one of the few JD/MBA students on campus at the time (9 total), I was tasked with learning how to market myself using both degrees. I had the particularly difficult task because I was the only JD/MBA who's interest lay in human resources. However, through research, leveraging resources, and my own personal network I was able to start my career with a Fortune 50 company in a leadership development program.

Another excellent review session!

I have finals coming up and Mark is helping me to prepare by reviewing ALL of the concepts covered over the semester. He is very patient and conscientious. He has shown me several ways to manage all the factors so I don't make careless mistakes. Highly recommend!!

Mark your AWESOME!!!

One of the best if not be best tutor I've had. Such a people person, and very encouraging, accounting is not dull with Mark. I am going to go to him for as long as I take accounting. He should teach my accounting class. Even my mom liked him and she hates everyone.
