I have been in the securities industry since 1986 and have passed several industry exams, such as the 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 24, 53, 63, 65 and 66 plus I have the CRCP certification from FINRA/Wharton Institute. I am a very motivated and professional person who enjoys my career and gains great satisfaction by helping others enter this field. My approach is very visual with illustrations and ways to recall a large amount of information quickly and easily. I feel it's important to discuss topics with students and to have them explain and rationalize topics back to me to ensure their understanding of the subject.

Tutor since 2016. Currently active in the industry. I have passed multiple exams in my career and enjoy helping people pass their exams to enter this industry and/or grow in their career. Many of my students are repeat, they start with SIE, then return for tutoring for TopOff 7 or 6, Series 63, 65 or 66 exams.

I would like to offer my years of experience and helpful tips in providing study skill tutoring. Over my 30 years in the banking and investment industry, I have studied and successfully passed multiple exams along with annual continuing education courses. I have the series 3,4,6,7,8,24,54,63 and 65 licenses and know what it takes to help pass. I set timelines to ensure I get through the material along with various techniques I've used to help remember and recall things for the exams. I use flashcards along with problem drills to help illustrate concepts effectively. I have the ability to explain details in an understanding way with my tone of voice, personal attention and bring high energy to create and maintain enthusiasm for the subject matter.

The Best Series 7 Tutor

Karen has an amazing way of explaining ways in a simple way that allows me to break topics down bit by bit. We focused my first study session on a particular area that I have been struggling with. After the session and watching the replay over a time or two, everything that she taught me seemed to stick and now this area is a strange vs. weakness. Will definitely be booking more sessions with Karen!!

Wonderful Tutor!

I really enjoyed my session with Mrs Karen. She really listened and gave me some excellent tips on how to tackle the material. She gave me valuable advice on how to balance studying, working and rest time. We discussed mutual fund share classes which I have a hard time differentiating. Also, she helped me understand ETNs which I kept getting them confused with ETFs. I really felt more at ease after our session. I was hesitant about using Wyzant but I’m so glad I gave it a try. Karen has been amazing!
