Debra has been a great help to our son ! She works with him tirelessly and help him achieve his goals that his teacher has set for him. We were fortunate to have found her .
Ms. Deb, reached out to Jacob's teacher to find out what he was struggling with at school as well as what his current lesson plans were. She came prepared with her own text books for him and sat patiently with him. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. When I explained that I wasn't sure of how to do his homework from the night before at first, after reviewing it with Jacob she then turned to me to make sure I understood it. Great teacher.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
