Political Science is a written discipline. The type of writing I can assist you with is writing that has a specific thesis statement to support. It is more theoretical than scientific writing and less creative/technical than an English teacher would support.
Political Science is my field of expertise, and within that field, my sub-disciplines are International Relations and Political Theory. Thinking on the global-level scale and thinking theoretically are major aspects of this discipline.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I won a special German Linkage through Language award for having completed Five German Linkage through Language courses as a university student (1 to 3 is the average). In these courses, immersion is emphasized, wherein you meet with language teachers and other students outside of a normal college class, and utilize the subject matter of that class to have free form discussions in a foreign language whilst making it a goal to not speak your native language at all. I also traveled throughout Europe alone and with no tours or guides for six weeks when I won a scholarship to learn in Austria, so I do have some experience with second language teaching methods as well as dealing with situations where one's first language is simply not an option.
I have an MA in Political Science. I have a BA in International Relations. My MA was Thesis-Based. I have taught International Relations as a 3-Credit course twice at a Research-level University.
