Dr. Kevin L. had very strong knowledge in chemistry, especially organic chemistry. Dr. L was a Professor of Chemistry in China and worked in US pharmaceutical industrial for 14 years. Currently, Kevin is working for a Pharmaceuticals Consulting firm as a consultant in medicinal and process chemistry; he is also working in a local university as adjunct faculty. Dr. L is very enjoying his professional tutoring in all chemistry courses and mathematics courses algebra, precalculus and calculus.
Dr. L have experiences in teaching in chemistry. Kevin taught physical chemistry, organic chemistry for undergraduates and advanced organic chemistry and physical chemistry for graduates, supervised laboratory class in physical chemistry and taught laboratory sections of general chemistry, organic chemistry for undergraduates.
Kevin has a college son at University of Connecticut. Thus, he is familiar with AP courses and SAT preparation in mathematics and chemistry. $50 for all math and general chemistry subjects, $55 for organic chemistry (college level) subject.
My daughter felt very comfortable working with Kevin and he was able to clarify any questions she had regarding chemistry. He was able to come at the last minute and was very understanding of last minute schedule changes. I would highly recommend him.
Very helpful and knowledgeable about topic (organic chemistry). Prepared in advance for lesson when I provided him with a few topics I'd like to go over and a practice exam. Encouraging and was willing to drive to meet me on campus. Also helped through email afterwards! I definitely recommend Kevin!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I am a professor tutor for math at a local college. I would more like to build up problem solving skills for students, for examples, number theory and geometry, fraction of quadratic equations, and more.
Chemistry is fun; I really love it. I got my BS, MS and PhD degrees in Chemistry. I was an Associate Professor in Chemistry and worked for pharmaceutical industry for 15 years. I am now working as professional tutor at UNH for all courses of chemistry.
I came to the United States from China 20 years ago. I got my bachelor's degree and Master degree in China, and I was a Professor in a Chinese University.
Most may just think that geometry is a practical science concerned with lengths, areas and volumes of a circle, triangle, cylinder, sphere, or pyramid. Actually, it is a foundation of physics and engineering. Geometry also needs to do more practice and develop problem solving skills. I may help you.
Dr. L hold MS and PhD degrees in synthetic chemistry. He worked in small molecule drug discovery and product development at a pharmaceutical company for 14 years. Dr. L is currently working as a consultant in medicinal chemistry and process chemistry, and working as professional tutor in all chemistry courses for college students.
