My passion is math and science. During high school and even middle school I was always in the highest level science and math classes offered. This often lead me to tutoring my peers who were having difficulty. That love of science and math transitioned into a BS in Biology from University of Connecticut, class of 2015. During my undergrad I worked in a lab studying medicinal botany, which gave me the opportunity to mentor and tutor underclassmen. Upon graduation I was accepted into University of Saint Joseph, School of Pharmacy with an intended graduation of May, 2018. USJ's program thrives on group studying allowing me to explain topics to students who may need extra help in the subject.
My schedule is planned far in advance and is consistent allowing me to accommodate even the most involved student. My class schedule is daily from 8am-3pm in Hartford, CT with exams every other Friday. I am available to meet on weekends too. I am able to meet in the town you reside in or half way for the further students at a public library or local Starbucks.
I want to make Science and Math enjoyable for students, a class they can feel comfortable walking into and confident for the exams.
I have a high aptitude for math and science. Being in pharmacy school the requirements are difficult, as well as all science and math related. I had to take the PCAT as an entrance exam proving my ability to preform basic medical math and science.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
