I also have a B.A. with Honors in Psychology, and a minor in Philosophy from Oberlin College, and I have been published in eight developmental psychology research papers. I have also worked for UCSC in a developmental research lab before applying to graduate school. I was on the Varsity Basketball, and Track and Field teams in college. I have learned what it takes to get a scientific research paper published through clear and precise writing. Let me share my knowledge with you! I am great with English, Grammar, Writing, and Reading. I also have played/coached basketball and track and field my whole life. I would really enjoy helping with athletic skills if that interests you! I have coached teams of kids ages 4-6 all the way up to 13-14, and individually ages 10-18.

I have worked as a tutor and teacher for the last 8 years. I have experience tutoring all elementary and middle school subjects. I also have experience with high school and college level English, Psychology, Writing, Various Sciences, and ESL. I was a tutor for other college students in Psychology, and also spent time tutoring all subjects for ages 3-13 in the Oberlin Public Schools. I taught an adult ESL class for a year during college, working with various levels of comprehension. I am also now working as a teacher at a wonderful after school program for ages 5-12. I love getting to know kids/people and helping them find the best way to succeed. My goal is to ensure they become independent and confident with whatever subject they are struggling with. I believe that everyone learns differently and it is important to me that we find exactly what works for you as a student.

Please contact me with any questions. I would love to help you succeed as a student or athlete!

Very knowledgeable and engaged tutor.

Caitlyn is excellent at synthesizing information quickly; for me she used her extensive knowledge in psychology to effectively assist in structuring and editing papers. She has worked with young children through to adults, and is patient and knowledgeable with her clients. Highly recommend her!

Passion/Love for Teaching, and Helpful Tutor! Seriously...AMAZING!

Knowledgeable most definitely, works with our specific needs and interests via my son! I couldn't recommend her enough if you have a student that likes to look outside the box, stretch their learning, or just learn the basics. She has been amazing to say the least!
