Greetings, Earthlings.

I've been tutoring for 7 years with an emphasis in mathematics, science, art, music, and literature/composition.
I've tutored through K-12 pre-algebra to college-level differential equations and logistical modeling. This has also included specific college courses such as: logic circuits, mathematical-based modeling and abstraction, college algebra, and digital logic integration into robotics.
I've tutored science from cell biology for K-12 students to organic chemistry for the collegiate. I have taught human biology and anatomy, environmental chemistry, and environmental engineering to K-12 students, the total time for those classes about 2 years. I've also tutored from geology to physics, again, for the past 5 years.
As a biochemistry/electrical engineering major, math and science are the subjects I've worked/helped most in. But I've also tutored forensics teams (Speech & Debate, public speaking, etc.) and edited published college papers to CSU-P, the CU trinity, and smaller community colleges while also have two books published under my editorial supervision. I've helped students with literature, composition, speech, and English for about 3 years now and actually find it much more amazing than STEM subjects. Students are crazy creative, no matter their age, and I think that's awesome.
I've taught piano and French for about 6 years now. I'm bilingual and enjoy seeing kindergarteners grow up with two, three dialects on their tongues. It's also nice to see musicians starting very young, or older folks returning to a lost love; I've taught classical piano to students ranging from age 4 to 64, now, and it's the most fascinating thing to observe.
Art is also a nifty one. I've tutored art students in history, technique, and composition for about 3 years, in mediums ranging from ink to charcoals, a few cartoonists and surrealists. I've had my personal work hung and sold in galleries, along with published illustrations in several small (humble), independent magazines.

Public Speaking

When at Pueblo South High School, I made State and National from 2010 to 2012 in Lincoln-Douglas debate. I was the President for my school's Speech & Debate Team; in college, I now act as the representative/Attending Officer for several clubs with popular public appearance (UCCS SPECTRUM, SSA, Science Association, Roleplaying Club). My current work at a mortuary puts me in the regular position of talking to grieving families both face-to-face and through telecommunications.

I've finished college classes up to an intermediate (conversational) knowledge of ASL and have an emphasized scientific vernacular (for classroom time related to STEM courses). I regularly work with members of the deaf community at the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs to communicate on academic/club grounds.
