I have been an Elementary Teacher for 19 years. I have taught grades ranging from 1st to 6th. I had even taught a K-6 Classroom for 6 years at one time while I was at Cove Day School, a BIE school on the Navajo reservation in northern Arizona. In addition, I have taught Elementary "Methods" coursework at the collegiate level for Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado as well as Dineh College in Shiprock, NM. As a teacher for 19 years I have been given added responsibility during Professional Development both within our school setting as well as in conference-type settings. Needless to say, I have become comfortable in front of large, diverse audiences.
