I have had the pleasure of being able to work with Scott since the beginning of October. I am working on completing my dissertation and need support with SPSS. He has assisted in showing me what reports to run, how to run them, and how to correctly write the analysis with the statistics. He is patient and very knowledgeable. I always appreciate his willingness to help with all questions that I pass along his way. I have had successful meetings with him in person, email discussions, and phone conversations.
Scott made sure that he covered all the material we were to go over, and also asked questions intermittently to make sure that I understood the material. He goes well above and beyond to make sure that he is providing me with the best instruction, and is always available for questions.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
