I am a math teacher and tutor any level through undergraduate mathematics--most of my students currently are middle school students, but I will happily take students younger or older. I teach special education at the middle school level (Cherry Creek School District in Colorado). I also can work in other subject areas but generally focus on math. When I realized how many of my students struggling in math were also struggling with reading and writing, I became trained in the Orton-Gillingham multisensory language approach to reading and writing. There are many applications of these principles to learning mathematics as well.

I happily take on struggling learners as well as students who need additional enrichment/guidance.

I have been tutoring for over 20 years and excel in test prep and with both struggling and advanced learners. I am familiar with Common Core math and a number of math intervention programs, as well as higher math's up through advanced undergraduate math courses. My specialty is getting to know how my students think and capitalizing on strengths to help advance a student's learning. Contact me and schedule your lessons so we can start as soon as possible!
