I have over thirty years of coaching and tutoring experience. I am the vice-president, webmaster, and education and outreach coordinator for the Denver Society of the Archæological Institute of America. I worked for the Colorado Office of Archæology and Historic Preservation from 2004-2013 where I taught adults in the Program for Avocational Archæological Certification and teenagers in the Preserve America Youth Summit, a hands-on field school that covered archæology, history, historic preservation, and cultural landscape studies. I have worked in Peru, Costa Rica, Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas and conducted research in Japan, Germany, Austria, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, and England. I meet the Secretary of Interior Professional Qualifications Standards in both archaeology and history.

I spent many years building a massive library and have several thousand texts available as well as academic papers I have collected over the years, and have access to numerous research and academic databases. I am an expert researcher, and can function as a guide around the internet and libraries, digital or physical, to help find information.

If you are interested in working with me, do not hesitate to reach out. In order to get the most out of our sessions, I would like to read over your class syllabus, get the textbook information and, most importantly, the topics and assignments that you need help with, so I ask that you email me that information as soon as possible. I dedicate a substantial amount of time to prepare the tutorial (which is included in the hourly cost, there is no additional charge), and research the course materials to create tailor-made s

I meet the Secretary of Interior Professional Qualifications Standards in both archaeology and history. My current research interests include the European Bronze Age, issues in the interspecies interactions in the early to middle Paleolithic, and Slavic history and archaeology. The research I conduct is into the intersection of archaeology, literature, and history. I also dabble in creative writing and the lost art of philology, the branch of knowledge that deals with the structure, historical development, and relationships of language, as I find that it enriches the study of my primary fields. I regularly use cultural anthropology in my research to construct basic models of prehistoric societies I study. In addition, have worked in physical anthropology having excavated burials in North and South America and studied bog bodies in Ireland.
