About Amy

Bio

I know how difficult school can be for some. I struggled a lot in middle school, high school, and even most of college. The key for me was learning how to study in an effective way for me. I would cherish the opportunity to help other students realize their potential in subjects that are difficult for them.

I love tutoring because I enjoy seeing people make connections with information they were previously unable to do. I like helping others to become comfortable and confident with course...

I love tutoring because I enjoy seeing people make connections with information they were previously unable to do. I like helping others to become comfortable and confident with course material. I utilize a variety of techniques when tutoring to address different styles of learning.

I have 5 years of tutoring experience with students. I am generally available for tutoring evenings and weekends. My cancellation policy is 6 hours prior to the start of a session.

Knowledgeable and patient tutor

We are studying Chem 111. Just having someone I can ask questions to and feel comfortable with slower understanding make a huge difference! I will continue to ask for guidance from her to get through this class. I recommend her.
