HI! I'm Cindy, and I'd love to help with your learning needs. Besides being the single parent of two well-adjusted and successful adult children, I am on a constant quest for knowledge! My life experiences include customer service-related occupations (from retail sales, through finance service to health and wellness care) to ongoing education in an ever-changing world.
My success in the marketplace can be attributed to lifelong interest in ever-learning that which is new: be it a recent hobby, or the latest discovery in evolving fields of personal growth. I love to take on challenges and am relentless in the search for truth and beauty where it may be least expected. As a high achiever personally, I set my goals at a lofty, yet reachable standard that begs for thoroughness and clarity; and as building blocks for unlimited growth.
My personal strengths are in the language and science disciplines. Command of the English language as it pertains to communication, and the rich history of the spoken word keep me constantly building my own vocabulary, and testing my success as a communicator. The dentistry background of my career field proves me learned in basic biology, as well as health in its relation to the whole human experience. We are a wondrous species, so knowledgeable of ourselves, and still so ignorant of all we have the potential to discern, that this remains an exciting direction for young minds eager for answers. As many as those answers may be, so are there exponentially more to be discovered as a student of life! I suspect the knowledge shared between myself and a student is likely to enrich us both equally!
I would love the opportunity to take that journey; with solid expectations of success, and the surprise of the unexpected as an added benefit. Who knows where we can go! HI! In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I am a graduate of Boise State University (1979) with a Certificate of Completion in Dental Assisting; a CDA with current registration in Idaho/Oregon/Washington/California/Montana for Expanded Functions (EFDA)and Radiology.
