I recently graduated from Texas Tech with a Bachelor's in French and a minor in Spanish. I am pursuing a post-baccalaureate in engineering at CSU and have somewhat recently discovered that I like teaching/tutoring. I can teach a wide variety of subjects, especially math, French and Spanish. I genuinely want my students to succeed, and I try to help them figure the problems out themselves as opposed to showing them what exactly to do.
I have taught French and English to middle school students in Spain, and so have some experience with teaching as well as quite a bit of experience with these foreign languages.
I have taken numerous math courses in college, up to differential equations. I graduated one math class away from a minor in mathematics. I also just love math.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have tutored several people so far for Calculus I and business calculus. I have also taken calculus I, II, and III in college, as well as differential equations and statistics. I use many of the concepts in my engineering courses daily.
