My academic teaching career spans more than two decades. I have taught high school Spanish (all levels) and have helped high-school age private students with AP Spanish and ACT or SAT test prep. So far our daughter has met her twice and we are supremely happy with her. We anticipate that she will be very effective in getting our daughter's ACT score up.

When I first started with Cynthia, I had problems with my essays. I had organization and grammar issues. Just after the fifth session, I started to realize that I have really been learning and progressing. Not only does she insist on me to write before we meet, but she insists that I actually complete the essay with a conclusion. Even though some days I didn't have a complete draft, she still helped extract my ideas and organize them. So when I go back home I have an idea on where to start and how the essay should be done correctly. I passed both of my classes with ,B and I'm moving to the next level of both classes confidently. Thank you, Cynthia!
Cynthia was wonderful! I couldn't have asked for a better tutor while trying to complete my thesis. She truly helped me become a better writer! Highly recommend!
Cynthia is consistently helpful and cheerful. In addition to the substantive information, she adds helpful tips on how to take tests better.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
