About Seth

Bio

Chemistry is all around us! My grandfather taught chemistry for 33 years and I inherited his love of chemistry and teaching.

After graduating from Clemson University, I have taught General Chemistry 1 and 2, Introduction to Chemistry and Healthcare Major Chemistry at the Community College of Denver, Metropolitan State University and Front Range Community College where my students have gone on to Colorado School of Mines, University of Colorado-Boulder and Denver, Colorado State University...

Chemistry is all around us! My grandfather taught chemistry for 33 years and I inherited his love of chemistry and teaching.

After graduating from Clemson University, I have taught General Chemistry 1 and 2, Introduction to Chemistry and Healthcare Major Chemistry at the Community College of Denver, Metropolitan State University and Front Range Community College where my students have gone on to Colorado School of Mines, University of Colorado-Boulder and Denver, Colorado State University and the University of Maryland. My goal is to relate chemistry to your life, so that you start to see the chemistry that surrounds us!

My students have also come from diverse backgrounds and majors. I know not many students in chemistry are destined to be chemists in their future careers but I want you to understand and appreciate the chemistry that will go into your future career, whatever that may be.
