I am a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University; I graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Spanish language and am working to become a translator and interpreter. I love learning languages, and enjoy teaching students equally as passionate.
Whether your goal is to speak better Spanish, read a novel in Spanish, or learn Spanish grammar, I will design lessons tailored to your goals and needs. I am very familiar with correct Spanish grammar; I have taken language classes for 9 years, advanced verb charts, moods and tenses are second nature to me.
I believe reading is the best way make progress in a foreign language. And I would love to work with you to find reading material and exercises that fit your language level and your interests. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
