I am seeking a teaching position for Physics tutor. During my time working in graduate school, I worked as a TA for the Physics Department. In this role, I gained valuable experience teaching undergraduate labs and classes. I was responsible for teaching materials, running hands-on labs, and grading homework and tests. This included labs for first and second year physics students as well as for students of other disciplines. These labs required different teaching styles to account for the difference in educational background and motivation. For example, teaching to non-physics students required less focus on the mathematical formulation of physics law and more focus on real-life examples, anecdotes, and demonstrations. While teaching labs, I was able to interact with my students in groups and individually, inspiring them to investigate the fundamentals of physics in an engaging and hands-on environment. The labs were based on introduction physics curriculum and covered basics of classical mechanics, derivation of equations, data collection, and data analysis including statistics.

I was also able to teach upperclassmen labs and introductory physics classes which were designed for the junior and senior physics majors. I taught Advanced Lab and aided students in preparing and taking measurements to demonstrate principles from chaos theory to superconductivity. Often there was considerable trouble shooting involved, and I helped to guide the students through this process, to think through the possible causes and to experiment with solutions. I also taught the Electronics Lab where I guided students through the fundamentals of logic circuits, op-amp design, and circuitry. The lab culminated in a year-end project that required students to create their own circuit and to demonstrate its functionality. I also gained classroom experience teaching introduction physics classes. Unlike labs, the classroom was more formal. It focused on teaching the fundamentals of physics theory, math, and problem solving. I was able t
