I am now 21 years old, from rural southwest Montana enrolled in my fifth term of fine arts at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in Denver, Colorado. My mother, her brother and her father have been educated and worked as freelance artists, strongly influencing every aspect of my individual passion for life. You see art is an inevitable aspect to human existence, and experiencing it, through understanding its influence in our personal lives and 'the life around us', help us to see the value and color of all conditions of life, even when parts seem imperfect.
I believe creativity is misinterpreted with process. All we can do is desire something, directing our expression in ways we intend, creating an individually based process of interpretation/expression. Expressing form realistically can be useful only as doorways to concepts beyond its visual sensation of rendering, leaving openness to the artist's choice of expression. This is important because as failure in comparison is felt, unintended anxiety controls any further expression. Humility is the golden ticket to overcoming adversity in life such as this.

Drawing

Drawing

I am a 2012 graduate in the Bachelors of Fine Arts: Painting from RMCAD, in Denver, CO. By attending the range of technical illustrative, creative, and abstract drawing classes both in the Illustration and Fine Arts department, I understand the tools for creating an unlimited potential of technique that allows portraying any subject matter in the way our imagination desires. Instead of only 'teaching' by showing or telling methods, a good dose of inspiration that stokes the ember of the artist inside is a more enjoyable and effective way of learning to draw.
