Hi, I'm Quincy! I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology and Psychology and a minor in Sociology. Additionally, I earned my Masters of Arts in Education with a Dean's List distinction. I have always loved learning new things. In undergrad, it became clear to me that I felt the most excited to learn about topics that professors were excited about. I became hugely invested in Biology and Psychology because educators made it relevant for me. As I came closer to graduation, I realized I wanted to share this excitement for learning with other students so I became a Biology and Psychology high school teacher. For the last 3 years I have been working with students on developing their understanding of science and math in ways that feel relevant and exciting for the individual. In order to make tutoring both beneficial and fun, I am dedicated to understanding the needs of each individual student by combining analysis of content-related data with learning each student's passions and interests.

I have 7 years of experience tutoring math, including elementary math, prealgebra, algebra, and geometry.

I have 3 years of experience teaching Biology and Psychology in a high school classroom setting. The areas of Biology that I specialize in include general biology, cell biology, genetics, ecology, evolution, biochemistry, and microbiology. Additionally, I have tutored students in small group settings or one-on-one in Chemistry for 3 years.
