I am a current middle school science teacher with eight years of high school physics and biology teaching experience. I graduated from Pitzer College in California with a B.A. in Human Biology. Science is definitely my specialty, but I also enjoy tutoring students in math. I really enjoy working one-on-one with students and teaching in smaller groups which is why I love to tutor!!
I just moved to Denver in July from California with my 7-year-old daughter. We love to go hiking, camping, paddleboarding, kayaking, and snowboarding so Colorado is right up our alley!! I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your academic goals!
I can tutor Prealgebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, and some Trigonometry and PreCalculus.
I have a background in Biology, but have also taught Algebra-based Physics for several years.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
