I completed my BA in three years with high academic honors while maintaining part-time employment, regular volunteering, study abroad, and active leadership. I am a non-native French speaker with study abroad experience at the University of Bourgone in Dijon, France. I lived in France and studied there for about four and a half months. I took French all four years of high school, then went on to test into French 300 my Freshman year of college. I graduated magna cum laude with a degree in International Studies and minors in French and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. I now keep in contact with my French professors and friends that I made while in France on a regular basis, as well as read, watch French films, and listen to French music in order to keep up with my skills. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
