Colorado State University (Chemical engineering)
I am a chemical and biological engineer working in the renewable energy sector. My academic and work experience ranges from nuclear power to microbiology. I am particularly interested in industrial ecology and bioprocessing but I find myself fascinated by subjects from physics to organic chemistry.
I have worked with college and high school students tutoring math and science but I feel comfortable working with students of any age. Math and science are not simple or easy but I am convinced that we are all capable of learning anything with a little help. Math is the way we communicate the magical phenomena we use science to describe. It's fascinating and it's for everyone if we make it available.
I work as a scientist and engineer and apply what I've learned almost every day.
I'm free weekday evenings and hope I can be of service. I am a chemical and biological engineer working in the renewable energy sector. My academic and work experience ranges from nuclear power to microbiology. I am particularly interested in industrial ecology and bioprocessing
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
