Brown University (Art History)
My love of tutoring comes from a deep passion of learning. I graduated from Brown University in 2013 with a double bachelor's degree in Art History and Studio Arts. I also worked as an assistant at Vogue Magazine in NYC where I further improved my writing, communication and management skills. As an undergraduate at Brown, I also served as Editor in Chief of the school's art criticism journal.
I specialize in tutoring English, Writing and Art History. I also can assistant with prep for the ACT/SAT writing sections.
One of my goals for each lesson is to take my students through their essays to improve the writing, grammar, and structure.
I am currently available to tutor from 9am to 8pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and weekends, but starting in May will be available every day. I am able to travel to students or conduct sessions online. My base rate is 50 dollars per hour.
I look forward to hearing from you and helping you achieve success!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
