Hey, my name is Tim, and I am a recent graduate from the University of Colorado Boulder. I graduated with a double major in MCD Biology and Economics. I also have three years of college teaching experience in biology courses. Two of those years were spent as a TA for Intro. Biology and Genetics. I have since started working, but I miss getting the opportunity to teach.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I took a genetics course at the University of Colorado Boulder (MCDB 2150) and earned an A in that class. I have also taught for that class three semesters: Spring of 2013, 2014, and 2015. In the Spring of 2013, I taught for a recitation course as a learning assistant, whereas in Spring of 2014 and 2015, I taught the lab portion of this course and tutored main lecture students as a teaching assistant.
