In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
As a therapist in clinical practice, I've studied, diagnosed, and treated ADD/ADHD for over five years. Additionally, I have experience administering neuropsychological testing to patients who present with ADD/ADHD referral questions. In 2010, I was responsible for developing and standardizing the ADD/ADHD assessment battery protocol for the neuropsychological testing laboratory at my hospital. This included thorough recommendations for patients as related to learning, school, and work.
Part of my unique background includes many years as an independent industrial-organizational consultant and job coach to an array of large corporations and small businesses. I have the skills needed to help those struggling to choose a career, hitting a roadblock along their career path, or seeking enhancement.

When I'm not teaching or tutoring, I write and develop content for a leading academic web company. I've provided tutoring and proofreading services to many graduate and undergraduate students at all stages of the writing process. In regard to writing, no project has been too small, large, or unusual... yet. So, feel free to challenge me. Writing samples are available upon request.
