We worked on Pinyin. I found Cathy to be dependable, capable, and fun! She emphasized real world language usage while adhering to a proven text used by Denver University (DU).
Cathy is very kind and organized. She helped me with my gmat test, and I found her instruction to be worthwhile.
I am returning to school after 15 years and need someone to help me get organized and on track as much as learn the content. She is very knowledgeable, well-prepared and meeting my high-maintenance needs in getting a work plan together and preparing for the class even before it begins. She has a strong knowledge base and teaching / tutoring skill set. I would definitely recommend her for accounting or other MBA topics.
Cathy does a real nice job of get to the crux of the problem and breaking it down, step by step. Very good tutor.

I had my first tutoring session with Cathy today, and she is very knowledgeable in business. She went out of her way to have materials ready for our session. Because of this, I was able to start working through some of the questions on the GMAT timed. Upon finishing 2 timed sessions of the practice GMAT material Cathy provided, there was still time to critique my essay and know what else I had to work on inbetween sessions to do better. She is very sweet too! I highly recommend Cathy!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
