I am a recently certified math teacher for grades 7 through 12, and am currently teaching full time at the college level. I have a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Mathematics. I am skilled in working with various educational technologies, including TI graphing calculators and online math and science simulations. I believe that the students' needs always come first, and I will do whatever is necessary to assure that they learn to the best of my abilities. You were very hard to get in touch with. You were late the first visit, and never showed up the second without telling me you weren't going to be there. I did not yell or scream at any point and did my best to help him. I wish you had told me sooner that this was a problem (I haven't seen him since September) so I could attempt to fix it. However, since you were not present during the tutoring session, I do not know what you're basing this on. I hope your son does well in the future.

"Very Helpful"

For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Tutor who explains complicated math well.

I am currently studying for the PLACE exam, and I needed someone to help me fill in the gaps in my understanding of math. Robert explains difficult math concepts in an understandable way. He is very helpful and patient. I appreciate the fact that he explains how to do the math but also gives me a greater understanding of the history and reasoning behind certain mathematical concepts.
