If you're struggling in your high school
Stacy works with my high school son in Spanish. He is a bit dyslexic, so was having a particularly hard time with written tests. Stacy has done a good job of not only teaching my son Spanish but also helping him to get organized on how to study for a foreign language. She also seems to make it fun for him; he never complains about meeting her to study.
Stacy is always prepared and ready to help me get through my tenses in Spanish III. She makes it easy to understand and remember the concepts. I couldn't pass this class without her help!
Stacy was great. She was patient and eager to help my daughter through her Spanish class. We met up at the library in one of their study rooms. They were able to study in a quiet setting and the room had a white board that came in handy for practicing vocab and sentence writing. Thank you Stacy!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
