Through holistic content review and frequent practice, I obtained a solid foundation in all MCAT sections including chemistry, physics, biology, biochemistry, psychology, sociology, and CARS. Whether you are preparing for the MCAT or equipping yourself for college classes, I am confident we can work together to equip you with the resources you need for success!

Both learning and teaching others are some of my greatest passions! The sciences can be challenging, but with hard work and determination, succeeding in and understanding these classes is certainly achievable. I love the sciences (especially medicine, biology, and chemistry) and plan to attend medical school after graduating. I am confident that with my love for learning, patience, and enthusiasm for science, I can help you accomplish your academic goals.

It is my goal to make concepts that previously seemed overwhelming as simple as possible. One of my goals for you, the student, is not simply to help you pass an upcoming exam or a class, but to actually grasp and remember these ideas at the fundamental level. I am very patient and am here for the you, and my desire for you is to feel successful after each session. Our tutoring sessions will be tailored to your pace and desires, whether that includes being challenged or just understanding concepts.

I have about 5 years of tutoring experience in many areas. I have assisted students in grade levels from middle school to adult in general and specialized (upper-division) chemistry, biology, math, and physics courses.

I look forward to hearing from you and helping you achieve your academic goals!

Genetics

I completed and passed BIOL 3830: Genetics at the University of Colorado with a high A. This class focused on DNA replication, transcription, and translation, along with inheritance, DNA technology, cellular and molecular genetics, epigenetics, and other topics. True understanding of genetics is based on a thorough foundation of general biology, and I passed General Biology I and II (both lab and lecture portions) with high A's. My teaching approach will be to ensure the student has a solid foundation in biology upon which to build the principles of genetics. Rather than strict memorization, I will give students an understanding at the conceptual level, which is especially important in a challenging subject such as genetics.

Knowledgeable and Helpful Tutor

Danielle has been a great help to my daughter in Physics. She allows her to work through problems herself and explains things that are confusing. She does all of this without making my daughter feel dumb! I would highly recommend her.

Knowledgeable, flexible and encouraging tutor

As a parent of a struggling freshman, Danielle eased both my worries and my daughter's anxiety about Biology. She was very knowledgeable about the subject matter and was a great encourager to a very reluctant learner. It was such a relief to see my daughter regain her confidence in a subject she struggled with for so long. Danielle is a very patient and motivating tutor and we'd highly recommend her.
