I have my degree in Physics, have done several years of research in nuclear engineering, and a veteran of the Naval Nuclear Power Program. I've been tutoring for years, and absolutely love to talk about math and science.
I absolutely love to teach and help others who have a desire to learn, and I think what separates me from other tutors is that I have years of hands on training associated with my education. I know how math and sciences are applied in the real world and understand how vital it is to have a firm knowledge of the subjects. My personal approach is to engage and help students find the right path and develop methods to solve problems. No two problems are the same and students who learn how to solve problems will be better prepared when something different happens.

Thank you for viewing my profile, and I hope I can be of help.

Elementary Science,

Elementary Science

I have my Bachelors in Physics, and have experience teaching elementary physics concepts to a wide range of education levels. Since all of elementary science can be explained through basic physics, it allows me to better explain how a wide range of topics work.
Study Skills,

Study Skills

I am confident that I am able to teach and help with time management skills and prioritizing when studying due to my extensive background in formal education. After high school I successfully completed the most advanced program in the Navy, the Nuclear Power Training Program. After my naval service, I enrolled in college and have completed 3 years at the University of Texas at Austin. I have learned how to be successful and how to study for multiple subjects at once from my years of formal education.
Elementary Math

Homeschool

Algebra 1,

Algebra 1

I have completed higher level mathematics through calculus and differential equations. I still have to take several more upper division classes for my degree, all of which is not possible to do without concrete knowledge of algebra.
Algebra 2,

Algebra 2

My completed coursework includes differential equations and I will be taking a few more upper division mathematics courses. I have mastered algebra 2 over a decade ago and have continued to build upon that knowledge.
Physics,

Physics

I have completed my Bachelors in Physics, under the radiation protection option. I've also used physics my entire career, during the Navy as a nuclear operator, as a researcher in college, and now as an analyst.
Prealgebra,

Prealgebra

I am currently working on my BS in physics which requires extensive coursework in mathematics, and I have nearly completed the math requirements. I finished Prealgebra work in middle school and have completely mastered this course.
Precalculus,

Precalculus

I've completed my BS in Physics which includes several years of calculus, and I've also conducted experiments using a research nuclear reactor. Additionally, I have tutored pre-calculus each of the past 4 years.
