The most AMAZING math professional!

Sandy is absolutely amazing. I have to home school my 7th grade daughter because she unfortunately has some mental health issues resulting from a trauma. I not only needed tutor I needed an actual math teacher this semester because I can NOT do math to save my life, let alone teach it. There was no way. I looked around and by the Grace of God we found Sandy! She teaches both my daughter and I in such a way that we not only understand math, we are starting to think it is fun (I know what you are thinking I laugh at that myself). When I hired her, I sent Sandy the scope and sequences of the Math work from the school my daughter is returning to, Sandy went out of her way to buy the book and plan and teach from that exact book and the exact scopes of the math scopes and sequences (no she would not let me reimburse her). She also extremely understands that my daughter can grow anxious while in class and Sandy is very patient and kind always being able to read my daughter as to know when to take a break etc. On bad days she teaches just me and then I teach my daughter. So I reiterate she is extremely patient and flexible which is an important when dealing with someone in my daughters condition. Overall, Sandy is an amazing teacher, and well all around am amazing person! We plan to keep her on after my daughter returns to school just for the additional help, Sandy will be a part of our future – no doubt!

Awesome

Awesome and extremely patient! My son had a hard day & was hard to keep his attention but with the teaching method Mrs. Sandy uses she kept the lesson interesting! Mrs. Sandy is super sweet and compassionate and never once became frustrated. Mrs. Sandy is very knowledgeable of the materials. We will book with her again in the near future !

Knowledgeable and patient

Sandy was very patient with my son and praised him when he was correct on finding the answers. That's so important and it helped boost his confidence. We will definitely work with her again!

Great at connecting with my ADD son!

Sandy has been wonderful at finding holes in my son's math knowledge and filling in the gaps all the while building his confidence. She is great at keeping him engaged and working at a pace that fits his learning style.

Knowledgeable and very patient

Sandy got my granddaughter to pay attention for an entire hour. With ADHD this is a feat in itself. Not only did she pay attention, but she enjoyed the learning process. Very happy with her and her teaching style.
