Hello there!
I hold a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Texas and pursuing a Master of Science in Learning Technologies. I aspire to get a special education teaching license through Colorado’s alternative licensure program. I have extensive experience working with a verity of clients, both through the public school system and private tutoring. I am a driven and passionate individual that loves to help people. My family is full of educators, and I am enthusiastic to help educate others. I speak English and Spanish, and have college courses in both subjects.

One of the biggest ways I find purpose in life is assisting those with learning disabilities and difficulties succeed in the academic environment. I fundamentally believe that everyone, regardless of their challenges, should have access to a quality education. I work with individuals who have autism, ADHD, dyslexia, cognitive processing disorders, and other learning challenges to achieve their educational goals, both children and adults. I seek to help people grow into the best that they can be.

I have vast experience with taking complex problems or material and breaking them down with my students. I have a dialogue philosophy, and because every student is different. Open, transparent, and positive communication is an absolute must for me. I will never cut down or chastise my students; I will always aim to help them edify themselves and grow with every project and every assignment.

I have worked with students that have a variety of educational needs. I also have classroom experience as a paraprofessional, and have tutored privately with students who have special needs. I also adapted behavior plans from school districts to the home/tutoring setting.

Best tutor of English!!!

Michael is the best tutor of English! In addition to the undeniable professional qualities, I would like to note that the lessons take place in a fascinating friendly atmosphere. The lessons are composed of different directions: grammar, listening, reading and work on the text, and much more. Lessons with Michael were always very enjoyable, efficient and productive. Thanks to him, my English skills are developing, and I am beginning to feel more comfortable in my daily English interactions

Michael had an abundance of patience, knowledge and made my nine year old son feel very comfortable (easy to talk to). Additionally, he completed a very professional and in depth assessment of my son's reading ability and created a realistic goal plan that I agreed with. If you have a child that has had reading intervention or may just want to get ahead in school Michael would be a good fit as a tutor.
