I'm a graduate student at CU Boulder, with a passion for Math and Science. I've successfully been tutoring students for 4 years, in SAT/ACT prep, and Freshmen through Junior Math and Physics.
I struggled with Math in Junior High, but worked hard to build up a method that has allowed me to be successful both academically and professionally. I, therefore, have first hand experience that makes me perfect for helping students that are frustrated by the traditional teaching methods.
I prefer one-on-one tutoring and let students apply math to real world situations to allow them to built up and intuitive feel for the course material.
Please contact me about any questions you may have. I look forward to working with you to reaching your GPA and test score goals.
I have the following educationional experience: B.S. Materials Science and Engineering, Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, IL; and a M.S. Materials Science and Engineering, University of Colorado, Boulder, CO.
And I have experience with the following subjects: SAT Math; ACT Math; Single/Multivariate Calculus; Numerical Analysis; Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations; and Quantum Mechanics.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
