About Cisco

I am a Canadian theoretical physicist with a primary research interest of developing a quantum theory of gravity, and deriving observational consequences that can be tested experimentally. Other research interests include quantum foundations, information theory, and cosmology. I am fluent in Python and Matlab, and skilled in many forms of analytic problem solving, mathematical modeling, and data visualization.

I have a PhD in theoretical physics and extensive knowledge in calculus, differential equations, geometry, algebra, trigonometry, logic, and many other high-level mathematical subjects, as well as physics, chemistry, and computer science.

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Differential Equations

I have a PhD in theoretical physics, and have worked with differential equations for over a decade. I have also privately tutored for about a decade, including subjects that involve differential equations. Finally, I have privately tutored graduate math and physics classes that require knowledge of differential equations.

Linear Algebra

Linear algebra is an essential requirement for an understanding of quantum mechanics, and I have been studying quantum mechanics for eleven years. I have used linear algebra professionally since my first publication in Physical Review eight years ago. My PhD thesis had elements of linear algebra all throughout it.
