Effective ability to work with students who have learning differences and challenges, I have had a great deal of success with helping students to resolve learning roadblocks. With more than 30 years of teaching experience, the diversity of my teaching positions as an educator have motivated me to have many tools in my toolbox.
I have been an Arizona, Colorado and California licensed Special Education and Elementary EducationTeacher for 25 years. My California and Colorado Teaching licenses are current in the realm of Elementary and Special Education.
Of the greatest importance, I enjoy working with children. Facilitating learning in all areas of a child's education makes for a successful teacher-student relationship. When a trusting relationship is established, learning is accelerated.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
