Let me be the first to say; I fully understand the struggles of learning new material—especially as a particular subject's content gets more rigorous. After all, it is called "learning" and not "knowing." It is my personal goal to help as many individuals as I can persevere and succeed in their academic endeavors. Success won't be easy, but together we can achieve great things!
I currently hold a Bachelor of Science in physics (mathematical emphasis) with Upper Division Honors and summa cum laude designations, an Associate of Science in mathematics (physics emphasis) with a magna cum laude designation, a level one tutoring certification from the College Reading & Learning Association (CRLA), have served as a tutor for the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program for grades 6-8, and have considerable experience tutoring advanced physics and mathematics at the undergraduate level. Furthermore, I have received comprehensive instruction in the following subjects: general physics (algebra and calculus-based), modern physics, mathematical methods in physics, optics, computer applications in physics, mechanics, quantum mechanics, thermodynamics and statistical mechanics, electricity and magnetism, algebra (I & II), statistics, geometry, trigonometry, calculus (I, II, & III), differential equations, discrete mathematics, linear algebra, and complex analysis.
With my physics and mathematics background in mind, it is my goal to share my struggles, triumphs, failures, and knowledge with anyone in need. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have or to schedule a tutoring session.
