Hello, my name is Kawana Perry. I am a certified elementary teacher in Aurora, Colorado. I have been teaching students in grades K-5 for 23 years and I love what I do. Currently, I am a 5th grade teacher at Littleton Academy. I like to engage all students in the learning process to make the subject matter fun for students. This is usually done through hands on manipulatives, games, and the use of technology.

I have been tutoring for ten years. Some grades that I have tutored include Kindergarten, first, second, fourth and fifth. Also, I have tutored students in middle school in grades 6-8. My experience includes face to face tutoring as well as online tutoring. I love tutoring students because it makes me smile when I students grasp the concept or have that "aha" moment and get a better understanding of a skill. My philosophy of teaching is that all students can learn and each student has his or her own unique learning style.
