What's your learning style for art? Come and we will explore the various characteristics of your creative learning ability and find your learning style. Are you realistic or abstract with your creations? Choose to work with crafts, handmade paper, painting, acrylics, dye, encaustics, oils, water colors, pen and ink drawings, print making,value drawings or clay hand building. Special needs children are welcome.

Drawing, beginning or advance. Drawing portfolio, keeping a journal can address a broad interpretation of drawing issues and media. Light and shade, line quality, rendering of form, composition, surface manipulation, and illusion of depth are drawing issues that can be addressed with a variety of techniques that could include painting, printmaking, watercolor, or mixed media. The range of marks used to make drawings, the arrangement of those marks and the materials used to make the marks are endless.

I have my undergraduate degree from University of Northern Colorado,double major, art/education k-12th grade also special education k-12th grade. Master of Education, Lesley College Cambridge,Massachusetts. Learn more about color mixing,tints, shades, your choice:acrylic, egg tempera, dyes, silk painting with dyes, or water color. You will have a chart that will help with organization of color. Primary Colors (First cannot be mixed)*Secondary Colors (Second made by mixing two primary colors) Intermediate(Third in importance one primary/one secondary) Painting surface,hand made paper,silk,watercolor paper,wood,or your choice. Decorate your own postcard. Keeep a color mixing workbook of your color study. Your painting will it be realistic or abstract. When to stop,croping, framing use of tools and techniques.
