I had graduated in June 2016 from the Master of Science in Finance program at The George Washington University, School of Business, with a concentration in quantitative analysis and project management. With professional knowledge to analyze market data, and develop trading solutions by using Excel VBA, Matlab, and Python, I had attended series analysis project, like Historical Research About Asset Price Change Pre and Post Interest Hike. Excepted the academic projects, I completed some financial models, like valuing different options by using the Simplified Binomial Tree, CRR, or LR Tree. Also, I used OTS (Office of Thrift Supervision) Model and OTS Prepayment Model to evaluate the MBS (Mortgage-Backed Securities) with different interest rates. Recently, under the assistance of the risk management team of a hedge fund, I completed a Fund-of-Hedge Funds investment strategies analysis project by using multivariate regression and vector math in Python.
I had started the professional analysis and trading experience during the middle school. Driving by the interests and industrious analysis, I found a listed nuclear energy equipment company, which had brought over ten times return since 2006. From July 2013 to September 2013, as a Risk Analyst Intern in Galaxy Securities, our team completed the pressure test and risk management review based on the Basel III. During the time on campus, through various projects experience, I acquired solid knowledge on C++, Java, and Linux. By using SQL and JSP (Java web-based applications), I cooperated with other students to complete the Student Information Management System, which stores the students’ personal and academic information and makes the information processing efficiently. As a program coordinator and teaching fellow, I assisted a professor in the Linux Teaching Program. From August 2015 to June 2016, I had conducted to analyze and managed the portfolio risk, the USD/CNY and China A-Share Market, for an automobile trading company in Los Angles virtually.
