I am very experienced and familiar with the curriculum, and I will tutor Mandarin Chinese during this summer in Santa Monica. I am a native Chinese. For the past 20 years, I have been working as a coordinator helping many companies ( Flipagram, WB Famous in Love, Disney Air Bud , Wyse Technology, Electronic Arts, 3M Touch, GE, Siemens, Bristol, etc.) to communicate with their suppliers or joint ventures in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and so on. Currently I am enrolled in the Overseas Chinese Teacher Program which is held by Taiwan Government. This program has been enhanced and updated me many teaching methods to teach people learning Chinese as
a foreign language.

I started teaching/coaching people Chinese Mandarin from 15 years ago to those people who need this language for their jobs and business. Now, I have a range of students: infants, toddlers, high school and college students, engineers, diplomat, businessmen, marketing directors, and CEOs.

I design the class and materials for every student depends on his/her needs, interests and levels. I don't just teach language, but also share the cultures, history, current issues and business experiences with students.

I really enjoy teaching young children. I use Chinese Montessori to inspire children of age 0 to 3 and read Chinese stories, sing Chinese children songs to them, also we draw, paint, play games and watch Chinese cartoons together. Excellent Mandarin Tutor

Chialin is extremely knowledgeable and patient with students. She knows my son's school course and helped tremendously with getting him ready for the start of a new year with a refresher session. My son felt a lot more confident after the lesson.

Excellent tutor for all levels

Although we only had an opportunity to tutor with Chialin for a short time, my daughter found her to be very prepared and an excellent resource. She has worked with a number of students from both the public and private schools in the LA area and is familiar with their curriculums and materials which helped us a lot. She has a sense of humour and is very patient and thoughtful as well. We would definitely use her again!

Very patient and loads of fun for my toddler!

I have an extremely active two year old and Ms. L. is always finding ways to keep his attention (singing, dancing, coloring, etc). Even when she's not here, he still walks around speaking Mandarin!! I'm so excited that he's absorbing the language and culture. I knew she was amazing from our first encounter. I highly recommend her, but don't take up too much of her time, because we need her too!
