Whittier College (Psychology)
Hello fellow students,
Helping others has always been something I have aspired to do. I am very organized and have excelled in numerous psychology courses at my college. I am graduating a semester early because I was able to get all of my psychology requirements out of the way. I worked for the psychology department and institute of technology at Whittier college and will be presenting at he Western Psychology Conference May 2016.
Learning various study techniques has helped me achieve honors in academics. Stress management is also very important to me considering students are constantly overwhelmed by deadlines. I have a very outgoing and humorous personality and know when it's time to get serious. I enjoy helping others, that's why I want to become a tutor.
Math can be fun as long as you don't let it get overwhelming. Algebra comes naturally to me and I enjoy doing it.
I have been chosen to present at the Western Psychology Associations annual conference May 2016 because of my hard work and dedication to my studies and the psychology department at Whittier College. Critical analysis and interpersonal skills are a strong characteristic I have, as well as excellent communication and literature skills.
Sign Language is a fascinating language that I took a passion to in high school which carried into college. I received and A in all of my sign language courses including advanced sign language at the college level.
I have an outgoing personality with techniques in boosting confidence and overall presentation and public speaking skills.
Going to a private institution such as Whittier College has given me the opportunity to work alongside my professors and get crucial critical feedback you may not relieve at a larger institution. Having flawless PowerPoint and presentation skills was vital for me in setting the standards at Whittier College.
Feel free to contact me whenever. I have a very open schedule as I am preparing for the GRE. I hope I get to meet as many students and help them alongside their educational goals they may have. Hello fellow students,

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Whittier College graduate in Psychology 2016. Member of the Western Psychology Association and presenting this May at the annual conference.
