My name is Brandon M. I'm a Senior California state university Los Angeles student studying mechanical engineering.
As an engineering student I've taken many math and physics classes and have learn to love the subjects. My goal is to teach and show others that math is not as scary or boring as others have made it seem. At home I have a sister and 5 cousins between the ages of 5-10 and patience is not a problem. I love to help others and see them succeed.
Math is more than a requirement for my career, it's a passion. I've taken these classes and loved them. I'll help you learn and love math as much as I do.

Brandon connected right away with my son which is very important. After the lesson I asked my son how he felt the lesson went. He responded that he felt more confident and asked if he could get another lesson with Brandon. Brandon was able to break down the math so that my son could understand it better.
Brandon is very nice and well mannered. He hit it off with my 14 year old son right away. They were able to work out concepts my son was struggling with in Geometry. I would highly recommend Brandon as your tutor.
Brandon took his time breaking down problems. He went step by step and checked for understanding frequently. He has a lot of patience and I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Brandon helped my daughter prepare for an upcoming math test. My daughter is usually shy, but she easily warmed up to Brandon's friendly personality. He makes learning fun and uncomplicated. I would recommend him.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have taken and passed algebra 1 during my first year of high school.
