Hello! My name is Wesley. I understand how important tutoring can be and how beneficial it can be to students in need. I have tutored a great number of students in subjects such as algebra 1, 2, geometry, calculus, SAT, TOEFL, GMAT, and accounting. I am patient, understanding, and kind when working with students. My main goal is to help the student thoroughly understand the subject instead of blindly following steps or guidelines, which is the main reason why I believe students are struggling. My strength lies in mathematics, having scored 800 on the math section of the SAT I, 780 of 800 in GMAT test, and scored a 5 on the AP calculus test, and passed all courses in accounting and became a CPA.
Currently, I am pretty flexible on time and meeting and can work on short notices. I love working with students, and I look forward to working with you! Hello! My name is Wesley. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
