I graduated from Saint Mary's College of California with a BA in English and a Master's in Counseling. I worked as a tutor/therapist for children with autism for over 8 years. I taught a special day class for students with autism for 3 years with Oakland Unified School district.
I have knowledge of subjects aside from English and Physiology. I love math, science and history too!

I worked with students with special needs for over one decade through the Oakland Unified School District. I worked in the capacity of a behavior therapist and teacher for a special day class. All of my students had autism or Aspergers, many students had duel diagnosis.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
During my studies at Saint Mary's College, I took two lower division courses on Bible Studies. I also took an upper division course on bible titled "Jesus, facts and myths" taught by Father John.
