Chinese characters are picture words with similar pronunciation like the word. Did you find the way to remember them? I am fluent in Taiwanese and Mandarin and I can read and write in simplified and traditional characters. I can also teach Pin-Yin and phonetic symbols. I have taught Chinese for fourteen years.

My working experiences include Hope International Church Chinese School (Arcadia), Premier Academy (West Covina, Hacienda Heights, Walnut), Chiao Hsin Chinese Language School, and Tzu Chi Academy (San Dimas). Helping students to get the highest scores in listening, reading, writing, speaking in SAT and Advance Placement Chinese is my passion. I will help you to develop and apply the skills, abilities and content knowledge you need for college and in daily life conversation.

If you want to learn Japanese and Koreans, it is best to learn traditional Characters first. It will help you learn their language easier because they originate from Chinese especially Japanese and they have used Chinese characters a hundred years ago. I will also teach you how to use Chinese website such as Sina, YouKu, WeiBo etc.
