I received my BFA at Otis College of Art and Design in 2015. I majored in Fine Arts with a focus in Painting. During the course of the four years at Otis, I worked for the Summer of Art program that offers art classes to children up to the age of 18. Also, I worked for the Continuing Education program as a visiting artist to teach adult classes along with two other visiting artists.
Teaching has become an essential element in my creative process. As an art tutor, it allows me to take a break from my own work and be able to help growing artists articulate ideas and enhance technical skills. I love blossoming a creative flow in growing artists' lives and being able to see their confidence grow.
I have been trained by respectable artists such as Dani Tull, Marjan Hormozi , Meg Cranston, and Scott Grieger to name a few. And I was a studio assistant for Dani Tull for New York exhibition at Jacob Lewis Gallery. I was also a recipient of Otis College of Art and Design's Fine Art Drawing Award. Plus, I have been in exhibitions in Los Angeles with other artists.
I have experience with oil painting; acrylic painting; encaustic painting; tempera painting; and plein air painting.
